We have just dropped inside the 2 months to go mark and a number of the the Tour Members are starting to find form. Pro’s Day at Brampton saw a number of fine performances.

Andrew Proud 79 -8 = 71
David Farrer 75 -4 = 71
Graham Hamilton 74 -5 = 69
Mike Caddle 67 -4 = 63
Chris Ralph 68 -9 = 59

A couple of awesome score by the Carlisle pair who took 1st and 2nd so well done Chris for taking the top prize on the day. I am sure Florida will be an interesting challenge for Ralph’y who now plays off 6!

We need to get a tour shirt sorted any colour suggestion?

I had a problem with the website yesterday and in sorting it out the course’s to play poll was lost. I have reset it up so get your 9 selected!

Lennar Homes LLC has sold the golf course at Stoneybrook at Heritage in Bradenton to Stoneybrook Investors, LLC for $3.475 million.
The sale includes the 18-hole golf course designed by Arthur Hills, a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, pro shop, a full-service restaurant, cart barn and maintenance building.

This sale went through in October 2010 and thought it would give you an idea of market prices in case anyone was looking to buy!

The lads on the “Relaxed Tour” have now got a place to stay. Alan has just sent me the link to allow you to view the property which is an easy stagger from the bars and restraunts of Siesta Key village. To explore this excellent beach pad click here

I have received an email today, from the owner, advising that the deposit arrived in the morning post and that he is sending a receipt as confirmation of our booking. This will be the 4th year in a row that we have used this excellent property as a base.

Virgin have been advised that after fierce competition to secure our prestigious custom, they have again been successful in becoming the official carrier for the 2011 Tour. This will be the 3rd consecutive Tour that has used Richard’s Jumbos. No doubt the girls in red will be checking their shift patterns right now! Perhaps they will run some sort of competition to select the lucky crew.

I intend to shed a couple of ounces before walking through that x-ray machine! Click on the photo to check it out.

The final part of the website was to set up a forum so that we can discuss issues and of course rib each other. It will also allow friends and family to post messages when we are on tour. In order to try and prevent the Spam Bots from swamping it, user registration is required. I have created two Guides the first covers registration and the second basic use of the forum.
